Chaos spells
Chaos spells are powerful but you sometimes take
a penalty when you fail.
- Sign of Chaos
- Magic Missile
fires a bolt. The damage is (3+((lvl-1)/5))d4.
- Trap / Door Destruction
destroys all traps and doors in adjacent squares.
- Flash of Light
lights up nearby area(radius (lvl/10)+1) and the inside of a room
permanently. The damage is 2d(lvl/2).
- Touch of Confusion
attempts to confuse the next monster that you hit.
- Mana Burst
fires a ball whose radius is 2(or 3 at level 30+), and the damage is
3d5+lvl+(lvl/4). If you are a Mage, a High-Mage or a Sorcerer,
the damage is 3d5+lvl+(lvl/2).
- Fire Bolt
fires a fire bolt. The damage is (8+(lvl-5)/4)d8.
- Fist of Force
fires disintegrate ball(radius 0). The damage is (8+(lvl-5)/4)d8.
- Teleport Self
teleport.(distance lvl*5)
- Chaos Mastery
- Wonder
decide "die" to decide this spell's effect.
- First, die is 1d100 + (lvl/5).
- If your virtue of chance is positive, if the chance value is less
than d400, die is increased by 1 and this process is repeated.
If your virtue of chance is negative, if the absolute of the chance
value is less than d400, die is decreased by 1 and this process is
repeated.
The effect is below.
- die = 7 or less : clone monster.
- die = 8 - 13 : haste monster.
- die = 14 - 25 : heal monster(4d6).
- die = 26 - 30 : polymorph monster.
- die = 31 - 35 : magic missile (3+(lvl-1)/5)d4).
- die = 36 - 40 : confuse monster.
- die = 41 - 45 : stinking cloud (radius 3, damage 20+(lvl/2)).
- die = 46 - 50 : ray of light.
- die = 51 - 55 : lightning bolt ((3+(lvl-5)/4)d8).
- die = 56 - 60 : cold bolt((5+(lvl-5)/4)d8).
- die = 61 - 65 : acid bolt((6+(lvl-5)/4)d8).
- die = 66 - 70 : fire bolt((7+(lvl-5)/4)d8).
- die = 71 - 75 : drain life(75).
- die = 76 - 80 : lightning ball(radius 2, damage 30+(lvl/2)).
- die = 81 - 85 : acid ball(radius 2, damage 40+lvl).
- die = 86 - 90 : cold ball(radius 3, damage 70+lvl).
- die = 91 - 95 : fire ball(radius 3, damage 89+lvl).
- die =96 - 100 : drain life(100+lvl).
- die =101 - 103 : earthquake(radius 12).
- die =104,105 : *destruction*(radius15).
- die =106,107 : genocide(power 50+lvl).
- die =108,109 : dispel monsters(damage 120).
- die =110 or more :
dispel monsters(damage 150), attempts to slow monsters in sight,
attempts to sleep monsters in sight and heals HP(300).
- Chaos Bolt
fires a chaos bolt. The damage is (10+(lvl-5)/4)d8.
- Sonic Boom
generates a sound ball centered on you. The radius is (lvl/10)+2 and the
damage is 60+lvl.
- Doom Bolt
fires a mana beam. The damage is (11+(lvl-5)/4)d8.
- Fire Ball
fires a fire ball(radius 2). The damage is lvl+55.
- Teleport Other
attempts to teleport a monster.
- Word of Destruction
destroys all monsters and items within the 12+d5 radius circle centered on
you. And makes rocks and floors at random.
- Invoke Logrus
fires a chaos ball(radius lvl/5). The damage is (lvl*2)+99.
- Chaos Channels
- Polymorph Other
attempts to polymorph a monster.
- Chain Lightning
fires lightning beams in all directions. Each damage is (5+(lvl/10))d8.
- Arcane Binding
recharging(power 90).
- Disintegrate
fires a disintegrate ball(radius 3+lvl/40). The damage is (lvl+70).
- Alter Reality
recreates current dungeon level.
- Magic Rocket
fires a rocket(radius 2). The damage is 120+lvl*2.
- Chaos Branding
makes a chaos weapon.
- Summon Demon
summons a demon. The summoned monster is often an enemy(possibility 2/3).
If player level is 50 or the demon is an enemy, plural demons are sometimes
summoned.
- Armageddon Tome
- Beam of Gravity
fires a gravity beam. The damage is (9+(lvl-5)/4)d8.
- Meteor Swarm
makes 10+d10 meteor balls fall down to nearby random locations.
Each ball's radius is 2 and damage is lvl*2.
Each ball is sometimes failed.
- Flame Strike
generates a fire ball centered on you. The radius is 8 and the damage is
300+(lvl*3).
- Call Chaos
decide the attribute at random.
[possibility 1/6]: fires beams(possibility 1/2) or balls(possibility 1/2)
in all directions.
The damage is 150.
[possibility 5/18]: generates a ball centered on you. The radius is 8 and
the damage is 500.
[possibility 10/18]: fires a beam(possibility 1/4) or a
ball(possibility 3/4). The damage is 250.

- Polymorph Self
polymorphs yourself.
- Mana Storm
fires a mana ball(radius 4). The damage is 300+(lvl*4).
- Breathe Logrus
fires a chaos ball(radius 2). The damage is your current HP.
- Call the Void
If you are adjacent to a wall, *destroys* radius 14+d11+lvl circle
centered on you(665/666) or deletes all walls(1/666).
And deals 100+d150 damage to you.
Otherwise, the effects are below.
- fires rockets in all directions. Each radius is 2 and damage is 175.
- fires a mana balls in all directions. Each radius is 3 and damage is
175.
- fires nuke balls in all directions. Each radius is 4 and damage is
175.
