Martial Arts skill is increased when you hit a monster whose level is more than (your level - 10) and you don't have any weapons. The increasing amount of the skill is below.

[Unskilled]
+40.
[Beginner]
+5.
[Skilled]
+1 if your level is 20+.
[Expert]
+1 if your level is 35+ and d3 is 1.

Martial Arts skill affects to hit.(+(skill-4000)/200 to hit.)
